Peter Morath Peter Morath was born in Wirral, Cheshire in 1937. He studied at Liverpool College of Art and was a lithographic artist for many years. He exhibited work in Britain before coming live in New Zealand in 1971. Since then he has held several exhibitions and his paintings and pastel drawings have sold extensively in New Zealand and overseas. He finds the magnificent scenery of New Zealand a constant inspiration. Peter lives in the South Island overlooking Lyttleton Harbour and the mountains of Banks Peninsular. His other interests include reading, classical music, steam locomotives and aviation. He also held a private pilot's license for some years. |
